The performance of the Tennessee Titans' cornerbacks was often an accurate barometer of the team's success (or lack thereof) in 2009.
During the team's miserable 0-6 start, injuries forced rookies Jason McCourty and Ryan Mouton into extensive on-the-job training and predictably, their struggles played a key role in the team's forgettable beginning to the '09 campaign. The return of the veterans from the injured list to the playing field was an integral component in the Titans' 8-2 finish.
As we move slowly but surely towards the start of the 2010 season, outside of All-Pro Cortland Finnegan, there's a few question marks at the CB position. Who's going to start opposite of Finny? Are the M&M youngsters (McCourty, Mouton) ready to step up? Will the Titans attempt to re-sign unrestricted free agents Nick Harper and/or Rod Hood? Or will the team acquire another starting CB via free agency or the first round of the draft?
The answers to those intriguing questions and more, after the jump.
